The Oblates are convinced that the mass media are a powerful force in today’s world, can influence the orientation of persons in his or her own life. Therefore, the social means of communication need to be used to evangelize, that is, to spread the truths of Christian faith. The Oblates, consequently, employ all the traditional and modern tools of social communication. Hence, the Oblate tries to do all he can to use these means to reach all in the society with the message of Christ. Some Oblates specialize in this field at a technical level in order to work with competence in this crucial area of evangelization.
